Musée d’Art moderne de Paris

Inaugurated in 1961, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris (or MaM) is located in the east wing of the Palais de Tokyo, a sober and monumental building a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower. The museum is devoted to contemporary creation in all its forms: painting, sculpture, installations, photography and video. The permanent collections of the museum, rich in more than 15,000 works, illustrate the various currents of 20th century art: cubism, school of Paris, abstraction, new realism…
